Poster on Advertising

Reflection :
We did this  poster when miss Veena was absent, it was super easy. It didnt even take a full lesson. My poster is about methods of online advertising. I am proud of it. I didnt really learn much, we did things that  already knew, so it wasnt that challenging, but it was fun.

This is my Dubai cares flyer :

This is my flyer dedicated to Dubai Cares. It took about 30 minutes. I didn't learn anything about digital design but i did learn about Dubai cares, I did not know where Dubai cares was located. It was pretty easy because in the previous year. A group for the exhibition brought in people from Dubai cares to speak to us so that helped me, but i definitely learned new things.

What is advertising?

The proper definition of advertising is the activity or profession of producing advertisements for commercial products or services. advertising is when you persuade someone to buy a product, when you advertise something. you may advertise something by telling people the positive things about the product you want to sell and leaving out all the negatives.

Most professional advertising for foods and drinks, show that their product makes you energetic and happy, that is probably the most common way of advertising. also some companies pay celebrities to act in their commercial which makes the celebrities fans want to buy the product their advertisement.

 Example : In 2012 one direction and a rugby player both advertised in a commercial for Pepsi. That video got many many hits.

What can you advertise?

You can advertise literally anything, any product, website or restaurant.

Fact : A lady sued Nutella because they made  Nutella seem 'healthy' and she won.

Fact 2 : The best ad of 2014 is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9vFWA1rnWc it is about this man who always gives a poor family money, he feeds a dog some of his lunch, he helps an old lady by the street drag a cart. Even though he gets nothing in return but one day he came to the poor family and the little girl isn't there, then he sees he coming back from school with a bag pack, she got to go to school from his money, she got a back pack from his money.

Where Can You Find Advertisements?

You can find advertisements on boards in the streets. A very common place to find advertisement is on TV or on YouTube. Advertisements can be found on any website online or apps.

Ways Of Advertising and how to advertise?

To advertise you can put up posters and give away flyers and business cards. Another really good but expensive way of advertising it to sponsor celebrities. This one is also really good and can sometimes be expensive and sometimes cheap depending on what you give away, you can give away free prizes. You can also persuade people to buy your products buy advertising on social media.

Making calories seem less, adults are usually trying to have less calories so the companies tell them that it is super healthy and has little calories. Many people who try advertising food have a mascot or character for their product. Creativity is very important for advertising, here is an example.

You can start a blog and advertise your product on you blog. Another very expensive one, buy a page or paragraph on a magazine to advertize your product. 

Types of advertisement

There are four types of advertisement. Product advertising, cooperative advertisement, direct response advertising and financial advertisement. 

Game and activities 
Putting a commercial in the form of a game.

Humor
If your way of advertisement  can make people laugh or smile then people will just want to buy your product.

Creativity 
If your advertisement is creative people will become interested and you will want to buy it.

Product Advertising is when you advertise a product. When you increase Sales so people but your products.

Cooperative Advertising 

Corporate advertising campaigns play an important part in business-to-business marketing.

Direct Response Advertising

Direct Response Advertising is when you give away thinks like free things. 

Financial Advertising

Financial advertising can help your company attract funds if you are planning to grow your business or make a major investment.  Financial here means money and economics.

Why do people advertise?

People advertise so people can buy their products/go to their restaurant/visit their website/ download their app, they want people to buy their products so that they gain money and grow their business.

What comes to your mind when you see this?

I get thirsty for a juicy cream bar of Mars. It also makes me think, WOW Mars are so creative and are really good with advertising. I also feel the need to eat that truck when i see it because, Look at the creaminess of that perfect Mars bar.

What is unique about this advertisement?

The truck is super Unique because it is a mars bar, the truck is a mars bar!
